Jeff Bezos has stepped down as CEO of Amazon.

Jeff announced his resignation after 27 years he found it Amazon. During the time, he had established a big tech empire too soon. The company had been making a profit and is still doing so.

Last week, an article was published accusing Jeff of not paying the tax returns despite earning so much. The stats in the article showed that Bezos evaded the taxes in the years 2007 and 2011. Many people criticized in of the richest man in the world for not abiding by the law. However, his close circle friends continue to take him as a business visionary.

Soon after the announcement of the stepping down, Andy Jassy will take over the company as the new CEO. Bezos, on the other hand, will transition to the chairman of the company’s board.

Jassy has been a part of the company since 1997 and has led incredible Amazon web series since then. He will take over the company in the third quarter.

The pandemic has no doubt affected the business of the company, where it has gained 4% shares in this year and almost 70% in the last 12 months.
